Food Lovers Competition

Cherry Tree

Food lovers Competition!

Thank you to all those residents who sent in their favourite recipes using leftover and long life shelf ingredients. All the recipes were fantastic which made judging rather difficult however 10 winning recipes were chosen including an overall winning recipe, Fish Cakes with a Twist chosen by Colin Oliver, uncle of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and owner of the acclaimed Cherry Tree in Stambridge. The winning recipe will also be on the Cherry Tree specials menu in the New Year.

All recipe creators received a signed copy of Jamie Oliver’s latest cook book ‘ Jamie at Home’, and Love food hate waste apron and the winning recipe has won a nights stay and dinner for two courtesy of the Oliver’s at the Cherry Tree.
