Kerbside collections:

  • A district wide fortnightly collection of paper, glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles, cardboard, books, tetra pak (orange juice cartons) and food and drinks cans, aerosols - collected in box and bag.
  • A "bag-drop" textiles collection scheme throughout the district operated by a local community group and charity - collected in sacks.
  • Residents with ground floor front doors can recycle their household batteries from the doorstep. You can recycle AAA, AA, C and D size household batteries - as well as button, mobile phone, laptop and rechargeable batteries.  Residents in flat blocks can take their batteries to the Recycling Centre for Household Waste.  Contact Harlow Council for more information
