- A district wide fortnightly collection of newspaper, magazines, card, plastics (including bottles, yoghurt pots, margarine tubs, ice cream containers, plastic carrier bags bubble and shrink wrap packaging) and tins collected in orange sacks
- A district wide fortnightly collection of glass bottles and jars collected in red boxes.
- Most households have a fortnightly kerbside collection of garden waste - collected in biodegradable bags or residents can lease a 240 litre brown wheelie bin.
