Kerbside collections:

  • All households have a fortnightly kerbside collection of newspapers, magazines, catalogues, directories, mixed paper - bundled or in carrier bags.
  • All households have a fortnightly kerbside collection of cardboard, plastic packaging (including plastic bottles pots, tubs, containers, trays, bottle tops, cups and carrier bags), cans, aerosols, clean aluminium foil and foil containers - collected in clear sacks.
  • 42,000 households have a fortnightly collection of green waste and uncooked kitchen waste. A garden waste amenity vechicle visits the remaining villages on a monthly basis between March and November.
